In our adult lives we so rarely create new BIG core memories (besides graduation, marriage and welcoming kids). Challenge accepted! We set out to help craft and create something so big and impactful that we would cement a new core memory for 1,000 Mewsers this past week. Working at Mews can be very intense and we at times expect our team members to make the impossible happen in order to inspire an industry to follow us. The only way we can do that, is if we have a highly engaged culture and team members understand and believe the mission that we are on, is worth it. I am curious how our Mewsers experienced this past week, and hope they will share the little moments and details that made this event so unique for them in the thread below. For me it has been working with Rebeca van Heerden, Sara Denise Arzan and our incredible DMC Gladymar Medina. These three ladies worked around the clock and listened to our craziest ideas... and somehow made them become reality with their support teams. I am in awe of their talent and grit! 😘

It was the greatest event in all of time! What made it special is it truly reflected what working at Mews is like every day.... creative, talent dense, inspirational, thought provoking and roaring with laughter! Thank you so much to you (Matthijs Welle) and Richard Valtr for my first Mewscon (which was nearly exactly a year after I joined) and a brilliant first year at Mews. And huge shout out to the incredibly talented organizing team where no detail was too much and EVERYTHING was creatively brilliant! (Rebeca van Heerden and Sara Arzan)👏

The way the hotel was branded into a Mews campsite, transportation from airport to hotel and hotel to other places, the Mews branded key cards, the coordination and support for me as a speaker, just to name a few specifics of what made this event so amazing. Makes me proud to be working with all of these heroes. This truly was and will be a highlight that will be hard to beat.

Best. Event. Ever! I sent pictures to my family during the event saying "This is what I do for a job" and there were many jealous replies! :D Feeling so overwhelmingly privileged to have spent some lovely time with so many people I'd never met in person before. I lost count of how many intros to chats started with "aren't you tall!" (6'8" doesn't really come across on teams!), but some lovely serendipitous encouters, some lovely compliments for some of the content I share at work, and just a chance to really connect with those who inspire me. This introvert was exhausted by the end of the event, but I'd do it all again in a heartbeat. Thank you Mews
I think we all lived what we promise our users i.e. rewarding experiences. It felt like Mews delivers what you haven't even thought of. Mews is the stuff that dreams are made of, and I am not exaggerating 😊
Without doubt the best company event I’ve ever had the privilege of attending. Core memories made, and it reinforced how grateful I feel to have finally found my people at Mews. My face still hurts from smiling the entire time! 😁❤️ Matthijs Welle & Richard Valtr - thank you (again!) for allowing us the space to connect, learn and have so much fun together. The organisation was next level, sincerely the best organised event ever! For me the part I enjoyed most was when we got more personal in smaller break out sessions, I’ve even learnt what gross margin is now!
It really was the greatest with no detail left unconsidered 🙌🏼 Not an easy feat but the team executed with such grace. How lucky we are to work for a company such as Mews and alongside such talented Mewsers 🥰

3wI don't think there are enough words which can describe the event and the experience , I really believe our organizing team should share a guide on how to craft an unforgettable event where everyone felt included , looked after, and taken care of 😍, then share this guide which will for sure inspire other companies or organizations. From all my heart thank you Mews for always setting the bar high even for our own events 🙏.
