This is unacceptable. And it's exactly why our budget this year urgently addresses the situation along our creeks and far too often on our streets. We are going to move over 1,000 people out of unmanaged conditions to create a better life for them, increase our collective quality of life and end the pollution of our waterways. Grateful to Keep Coyote Creek Beautiful, Councilmember Bien Doan, and dedicated volunteers from across the city for coming out this morning, rolling up their sleeves and making a difference! We have a long way to go — but we aren't giving up until we end the era on encampments here in San Jose and clean up our waterways. Join us: bit.ly/cleansj
I know a better way to end the “era of encampments”: AFFORDABLE HOUSING!! Saying encampments are the problem blames the victims. They want to be housed. Let’s build the housing first - the “encampment problem” will take care of itself.
You are doing a fantastic job as SJ’s mayor! Thank you for your leadership and hard work! GO 🛎️’s!!!
Mr. Mayor Matt Mahan, I am so proud of supporting you eventhough I can't vote for you. You are truly a light in the dark world of politics.
Way to set a great example Matt. Keep up the excellent work. These issues didn't happen overnight. It is going to take time and perseverance to turn this around. Thank you for your leadership!
