What lengths would we go to determine the volume estimates for truckloads? Turns out, we’d take our team up a notch by using the balcony above the lab. From there, we’d dump materials overboard to determine the angle of repose. By identifying the dimensions of this conical pile and determining the angle of repose, our client was able to accurately estimate stockpiling and truckload needs.
