Title "Photon-counting CT of degenerative changes and rupture of silicone breast implants: a pilot study" by Claudia Neubauer, Oliver Gebler, Dr. med. Caroline Wilpert, Maxim Scherwitz, Niklas Efinger, Fabian Bamberg, Marisa Windfuhr-Blum & Jakob Neubauer. 🧬A study evaluated 21 subjects with 29 silicone breast implants using phase-contrast computed tomography (PCCT) and MRI. 🤩 We were proud to see our neurothrombectomy technology, #NeVa, on the #SNIS2024 stage. Dr. Michael Froehler, MD, PhD presented on the CLEAR study and NeVa ONE Registry data - both showing the impact of our Drop Zone™ technology on first-pass rates. 𝗗𝗿. 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗲𝗵𝗹𝗲𝗿'𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀: ➡️ The CLEAR study demonstrates that the NeVa device is effective and safe • Substantial equivalence to predicate devices (eTICI 2b-3) in primary non-inferiority analysis • Statistically superior to predicate devices (eTICI 2b-3O) in post hoc analysis • Clinical outcomes at 90 days were superior to predicate studies in exploratory analysis ➡️ The CLEAR study demonstrates statistically superior first-pass rates for NeVa versus predicate devices (eTICI 2b-3) ➡️ The NeVa ONE Registry representing real-world data provides similar results to the prospective CLEAR trial ➡️ There is a limited benefit for reperfusion beyond three passes 👏 Thank you to the Society of NeuroInterventional Surgery for the opportunity and to Dr. Froehler for an excellent presentation!
