We’ve just launched a brand-new way for customers to shop for home insurance in the UK. With the Amazon Insurance Store, customers can request and review quotes, select a policy, and checkout—all on amazon.co.uk. Every policy will start with the Amazon Standard of Cover, making it easier for customers to compare like-for-like quotes and then further personalize their policy in the areas that matter most to them. Today, my team announced that Amazon will be rolling out the Amazon Community Lending as a long-term offering for Amazon US store sellers. This program, in partnership with Lendistry, has loaned over $35 million to over 800 sellers in socially and economically distressed communities, and now it plans to loan over $150 million in the next three years.
