After an incredible summer, it has finally sunk in that I will be joining Unilever full-time as a Marketing UFL next year! The list is endless, but I want to specifically thank my incredible team Kevin Tolson Cecily Pirozzoli Katie (Katharine) Waters Bryan Samuelsen J. Taylor Ruscoe and John Pearson for making my summer as memorable as it was. I did not get to this point alone; I cannot thank my family, friends, and mentors enough for everything that they have done for me. Looking forward to heading east next summer! #uniquelyunilever

After an incredible two years, my time at Unilever has come to an end. The past two years have been filled with growth, learning, and unforgettable memories. I want to thank everyone who has been involved in my journey. You have all had a profound impact on my life; I can only hope I've been able to positively influence yours. What's next? I am moving back home to Los Angeles and will be taking a few weeks to recharge with family before I begin my next adventure. Stay tuned!

I know I don't post often here, but I want to share how unbelievably proud I am of my incredible mother on winning the coveted Manhattan Beach Unified School District "Teacher of the Year" Award for Pennekamp Elementary (for the 2nd time)! For those of you that don't have the pleasure of knowing the caring, intelligent, selfless, funny, and just downright amazing woman who is Patti Ackerman, I hope you are fortunate to have a powerful and impactful woman in your life; she and they make the world a MUCH better place. In less than two weeks I will officially be an alumnus of University of California, Berkeley. There are a plethora of emotions running through my mind, but one that I can firmly pinpoint is the excitement I have about moving east to join the incredible team at Unilever.
