As we commemorate Juneteenth this year, let's remember that the road to equality across our nation remains a long one. Our recent research highlighted that it would take centuries to close equity gaps for Black Americans, but there are opportunities to accelerate progress through place-based solutions. In a recent column in The Columbus Dispatch, Partner Duwain Pinder focuses in on one of the fastest growing cities in the country, noting it would take 700 years to achieve equality in Columbus on the current trajectory. Duwain highlights for solutions to advance equity for local residents and make the region not just a growing community, but also a thriving one. https://lnkd.in/eQzVHxNN #Juneteenth #InclusiveGrowth

This latest op-ed in Forbes by Shelley Stewart III explores how the choice is ours. #economicmobility #inclusivegrowth #genAI
Please take a minute to read my latest piece in Forbes on the nuanced landscape of Generative AI for Black Americans. McKinsey & Company analysis sheds light on gen AI's potential to significantly elevate the global economy, potentially contributing up to $4.4 trillion annually by 2040. However, the picture is complex. There are opportunities for enhanced wealth, educational and health outcomes, yet concerns about the deepening racial wealth gap and the automation of jobs loom large. As we collectively navigate this new terrain, it's imperative that we push for an approach that champions inclusive progress. #closethegap #mckinseyinsights
