3wThis is what I love about F1. Long gone are the days where the tech on the cars had much connection to road cars (no doubt there are still some connections but surely these are increasingly rare). However, F1 tech increasingly drives (pun intended) development and innovation in all sorts of non-car-related areas. I remember reading a while back how hospitals were analysing F1 pit stops to identify how to improve patient transfers during time-critical emergencies. F1 is a crucible that requires optimising every process in an organisation. Most businesses can learn something from how they operate.
