What is "Hot press" ? Since 1984, IHI has been manufacturing vacuum hot presses that form products by applying pressure to articles to be processed under high temperatures and high vacuum. Diffusion bonding is performed using this vacuum hot press. The vacuum furnace has a heating chamber consisting of a heater and heat insulator inside a vacuum vessel made of steel, and a vacuum pump is used to create a vacuum inside the furnace vessel to raise the temperature to over 1 000°C to perform heat treatment of steel materials such as quenching and tempering. The vacuum hot press is a vacuum furnace with a press mechanism. Since the temperature inside the equipment exceeds 1000°C, heat insulator is used for the members in the heating chamber, and graphite material, whose strength does not deteriorate even at high temperatures, is mainly used for the heaters and other components. In addition, the press rams and punches, which require rigidity, are made of a special graphite material with high strength. People talk about moving fast and needing speed. I completely agree; however, it's HOW we produce speed. If you want speed gains up the body, the previous segment needs to decelerate. That's how we get the speed into the barrel and into the ball. PVC pipe recoils are a great way to train this.

Here’s a video we did in 2016 graphically demonstrating the anti-blocking characteristics of our liquid terminal configurations. We’ve since developed enhancements; however, the principle remains the same. We utilize the liquid tubes that are often fitted to seed drills, not as the main liquid application device, but merely as a conduit for our 5mm & 6mm PE terminal tubes. It’s all about peripheral control. We pass our terminal tubes through these conduits and extend the PE tubes approx. 3.0mm beyond the ends. This prevents the original open tube from becoming a breech which can result in blockages. The peripheral (PE terminal) tubes are self-cleaning as the liquid flow displaces soil particles that may come in contact and the whole assembly becomes breech-less. 3/8” (9.53mm.) or 10mm OD stainless-steel tubes are the ideal conduit sizes.

Clamp the ST-80C using the clamp lever. It is not necessary to have a pipe in the jaws. Read the pressure on the gauge, while holding the lever in the clamp position. The pressure should be 2,100 psi. 3. Remove the gauge. Perform the following procedure when the system pressure is not 2,100 psi. 1. Remove the tamper resistant cover from the PRV cartridge. 2. Follow steps 1 through 3 as described above. 3. One person needs to hold the clamp lever in the clamp position. 4. Another person adjusts hex socket on the PRV cartridge. (Clockwise to increase pressure, counterclockwise to decrease pressure.) 5. Remove gauge and replace tamper resistant cover.
