Statista's findings from the Global Consumer Survey show that Americans love beer, seemingly more than ever. The number of breweries in the United States has quintupled over the past decade alone, which means the demand is there. We are a thirsty nation. Last year's numbers were crunched, and we now know what kinds of beer are the most popular. Out of nearly 900 beer drinkers (aged 21 to 64 years old) surveyed, just under half drank a lager, making it the most popular type of beer. On the other end, porters were the least popular type, having only 13 percent of respondents say they had one in the past year.

KEY #BEER #COLORS are #RGB: Red, Green,Blue Looking at the way that packaging of the most popular beers for each country, there is only 3-4 main color hues. Second obvious learning is how #local of the #beverage beer is. Yes, many brands are owned by umbrella conglomerates (like Heineken), but still it is fascinating that there is rarely a beer which would be top seller in more than 1 market.

On this day in 1935, the first canned beer was sold. 🍺 Introduced by the Gottfried Krueger Brewing Company and the American Can Company, the cans were made of tin-plated steel and featured a special enamel lining to prevent any interaction between the beer and the metal, preserving the quality of the beverage. Over 3,000 beer cans—each with their own unique story—are set to go up for auction. Learn more about the rare cans! ➡ https://lnkd.in/gTFGmpda ------- If you like this post and want to learn more about collectibles, the hobby and the industry, please: 👍 LIKE ✍ COMMENT ♻️ REPOST #collectibles #history #americana #beerlovers | Molson Coors Beverage Company

Do you wonder why beers are bitter in taste? Is belly fat really caused by drinking a lot of beer? Why craft beers are not kept in liquor stores? Is it easy to start a career as a brewer? Many such questions are answered by our guest Abhishek Patil, Co-Founder of Topchi. He has an experience of 20+ years in the beverage industry. My top 3 takeaways from our conversation: ➡️ Belly fat isn't caused by every beer instead it's due to the glycerine that is being added to the beer. ➡️ There are more than 700 types of beers but you're served with only 1-2 types by the big giants of the industry. ➡️ As a brewer, you can make your version of beer which is not necessarily bitter always. We also discussed: ↠ How are commercial beers different from craft beers? ↠ Why beers are considered as summer drinks? ↠ What is the shelf life of commercial and craft beers? ↠ Was it easy to set up a brewery in New Zealand? ↠ What is his best invention in Craft Beers? Link to this podcast is in the first comment! P.S. Have you ever consumed a commercial or craft beer and what was your experience? Share with me in the comments! #YourPerspective #Podcast
