Congrats to Florida Blue for being recognized as one of the 2023 Fortune Best Workplaces for Women™ by Great Place To Work® and Fortune magazine. This marks Florida Blue’s debut on this prestigious list, securing the 38th position. The recognition underscores Florida Blue as one of the top workplaces in the country, ranking as the third-highest among the nine health care companies listed and the second-highest among the seven Florida-based companies. The selection is based on the analysis of survey responses from over 600,000 women working for Great Place To Work Certified™ companies eligible for the list. To qualify, a company must employ at least 50 women, have at least 20% of non-executive managers who are women, and at least one woman executive. Of Florida Blue’s nearly 8,900 employees, 67% are women. Florida Blue achieved its 2023 Great Place To Work Certification™ earlier in the year, attaining a 91% employee satisfaction rate compared to the 57% average for typical U.S.-based companies.
