HAPPY 248th BIRTHDAY AMERICA! Today the Army celebrates the birth of our nation and honors the founders for their achievements and sacrifices in the face of tremendous adversity as they pledged to each other their “lives, fortunes and sacred honor.” The Army played an essential role in the founding of the United States as an independent nation and in winning the Revolutionary War. Without the Army, there is no United States!

Today, whilst on my travels, I had the privilege of re-visiting after many years, the Commando Memorial in Lochaber, a poignant tribute to the Army Commandos of WWII and the Royal Marines who have carried on their legacy. Although I am ex Army, I am not commando-trained, but know some Anthropists who are, namely the ex- Royal Marines. They would undoubtedly recognize the formidable motto inscribed: 'United We Conquer.' This visit reminded me of the power of unity in such dire times, both in the past and the need for it today. As a nation, I believe if we come together in the spirit I have always envisioned for Anthropy, we can tackle pressing social, economic, and environmental challenges. However, achieving this requires the same determination, bravery, initiative, and purposefulness demonstrated by the commandos. It also now requires this of our new Government, given its minority of votes, regardless of its majority of seats. It also requires those who didn’t vote #Labour to be open to such collective endeavour. If I have one call from seeing this again, it is to channel this Anthropic spirit and collaboration, towards conquering the issues that impact us all. Together, we can make a difference, or as it says, ‘United We Conquer’. #UnitedWeConquer #AnthropySpirit #CommunityResilience Ben Brabyn Lee E Collins MBA PMP FIoL #Anthropy #Anthropist

Executive Assistant to the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense (DASD) for Military Community & Family Policy (MCFP) in the Organization of the Joint Chiefs at the Pentagon.
Today we honor and celebrate the 249th United States Army Birthday. We extended our deepest thanks and gratitude to every Soldier serving on Active duty, Reserves, National Guard, Veteran, Retirees, and their families for your service to our nation. We honor and remember those Soldiers who paid the ultimate sacrifice to defend our nation, our allies, and the values of the US Constitution. #DeptofDefense #ThePentagon #MilitaryCommunityandFamilyPolicy #USArmy #ThisWeWillDefend History The United States Army (USA) is the land service branch of the United States Armed Forces. It is one of the eight U.S. uniformed services, and is designated as the Army of the United States in the U.S. Constitution. The oldest and most senior branch of the U.S. military in order of precedence, the modern U.S. Army has its roots in the Continental Army, which was formed on 14 June 1775 to fight the American Revolutionary War (1775–1783)—before the United States was established as a country. After the Revolutionary War, the Congress of the Confederation created the United States Army on 3 June 1784 to replace the disbanded Continental Army. The United States Army considers itself to be a continuation of the Continental Army, and thus considers its institutional inception to be the origin of that armed force in 1775.

I have identified by name and city of residence 4 members of the Massachusetts militia in the Minutemen category who were Black. The next part of my research about Black men of Revolutionary War Era Massachusetts is to compile a list of men who were part of city and town militia companies, men who were enlisted or drafted into the Continental Army regiments, and Black men who were crew on Massachusetts privateer ships . Are there any others working on identifying Black or Indigenous Americans who are Revolutionary War veterans?

🌟 Exploring the Roots of Memorial Day with African Americans 🌟 As we reflect on the origins of Memorial Day, it is crucial to recognize the often-overlooked contributions of African Americans in shaping this solemn occasion. Following the Civil War, formerly enslaved individuals, known as Freedmen, played a pivotal role in commemorating fallen Union soldiers by decorating their graves. This act of remembrance evolved into what we now observe as Memorial Day, a day to honor all those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation. 🌺 Armed Forces Day, Veterans Day, and Memorial Day: Unveiling the Differences 🌺 🔹 Armed Forces Day: Celebrated on the third Saturday in May, Armed Forces Day pays tribute to the men and women currently serving in the United States Armed Forces, showcasing their dedication and bravery in safeguarding our nation. 🔹 Veterans Day: Observed on November 11th, Veterans Day honors all military veterans who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces, expressing gratitude for their service, sacrifices, and contributions to our country's freedom. 🔹 Memorial Day: Held on the last Monday of May, Memorial Day solemnly commemorates the brave individuals who died while serving in the U.S. military. It is a day of remembrance, reflection, and gratitude for their selfless devotion to our nation. Let us embrace the rich history and significance of these observances, cherishing the diverse narratives and sacrifices that have shaped our nation's legacy. 🇺🇸 #MemorialDay #AfricanAmericanHistory #HonoringHeroes #Veterans #ArmedForces #NeverForget #Respect #usa #Remember #everyonefollowers #everyonehighlights #holiday #blackhistory #americanhistory #highlightseveryone

Whatever America Hope's to bring to pass in the world must first come to pass in the Heart of America.Pay attention to the universe, it's so translusive. At a time when national power is held by the wealthy, there is a urgent need -if democracy is to serve for people to organize in own communities. The wisdom of nations lies in their proverbs, which are brief and pity. When god wants to give a message, he makes sure it gets delivered. God gives his hardest battles to his strongest soldiers. You always pass failure on way to success. happens for a reason. Is it more than coincidence- Devine nature of light. Is god visible-his humorous ways.A core value that drives is passion for justice- political spectrum emphasis is on harnessing these techniques and strategies to increase equal opportunities and Justice in our society -caring for each other and making society more equitable. Truth often suffers more by the heat of its definiatives than from the arguments of its opposers. Has been known to be said, "no way of judging of the future, but by the past." That concerns me, for my children, our children- America in general. I'm determined to not let the root of all evil overrule In God We Trust, especially in family courts. In spite of what's been recently demonstrated, as well as defining and exercising the concepts that differs: helping, protecting, and enabling; right and wrong- for what reasons and for whom. There has been a variety of incidences leading/ leaving me with redirecting concerns. If I was to write out (rewrite at least the incidents up -it would be a novel; can only speak the truth.Better execution of our innovation. Initiative is our challenge. We live in a age when change is acceleration. Breaking the system takes care. Has always been a pioneer in providing innovative business ideas, and community involvement. We take so many things for granted. It's easy to forget in your day-to-day life. We live in-between the morning cups of coffee, the afternoon work, or our evening routines. In some ways, those individuals that gave it all, would have it just that way... FREE Free to live our lives in peace, Free to live in the pursuit of happiness, Free to build and grow and live in what is the most prosperous nation in the world. But we must never forget the cost of liberty and what it takes to get here. Today is June 6, and today we remember D-DAY. Today we remember all those individuals that served and made the ultimate sacrifice so that future generations in the United States and abroad could have a brighter future. Today we remember #freedomisntfree #dday #veterans
Today marks the 80th anniversary of D-Day, June 6, 1944. On that day, around 160,000 American and Allied troops carried out the largest combined land, air, and sea invasion in military history. By the end of the Normandy landings, approximately 10,000 soldiers had been killed, wounded, or were missing, including 6,603 Americans, 2,700 British, and 946 Canadians. These valiant men served as liberators, fighting to uphold the sacred principles of democracy and freedom. Their courage and sacrifice on the beaches of Normandy paved the way for the ultimate victory in Europe, ending the scourge of Nazi tyranny. With each passing year, the ranks of World War II veterans grow thinner, yet their spirit lives on. Today, we solemnly remember and honor all those individuals of exceptional valor and courage who served and made the ultimate sacrifice so that we may enjoy the liberties we cherish today. Their legacy serves as a reminder of the high price of freedom and the unwavering commitment required to preserve it. We owe an immense debt to these heroes, whose selfless actions secured a brighter future for generations to come. #veterans #dday #supportourtroops #landofthefree #neverforget

LtCol Scheller is spot on. 28 of the 34 recently retired four-star U.S. military officers went to work for the arms industry, a revolving door that drives soaring profits and near-record military spending. "The revolving door is a problem because it creates the appearance—and in some cases the reality—of conflicts of interest in the making of defense policy and in the shaping of the size and composition of the Pentagon budget." Beyond the $200k+- pension for life, many General's also finagle 100 percent VA disability benefits - because of their rank and influence. These perfumed princesses developed a military culture where they are untouchable and beyond scrutiny.....as evident by their piss poor performance in Iraq, Afghanistan, Kabul Debacle.... We have undoubtedly the best military with unmatched equipment and superior troops....but we lack the senior military leadership. Lions led by self-serving Sheep. General's (and politicians) should be barred from holding shares and working for the MIC, defense related corporations, foreign governments....for 5 years after retirement.
Talked to Ramaswamy about the corruption in America's senior military ranks. The American military is rotting from within. While General Mattis (General Dynamics), General Dunford (Lockheed Martin), and other prominent military personalities profit off war and the efforts of young enlisted service members, people like Ramaswamy bring attention to the problems. It was cool meeting him.
