This is a Nursing Challenge! Many times we do not recognize how our food and drink choices weaken the cells and disturb the balance of electrolytes. Many minerals and so called "Vita"mins are not met with the SAD diet and distressed lifestyles. (Standard American Diet). To reduce the chances of the need for IV solutions, we can turn to our internal chemistries and find balance with more natural organic choices around diet and lifestyle. #lifestylebalance #foodchoices #foodallergies #foodtoxicity #mineralimblances #mentalhealth #guthealth #mindfuleating

We understand it can be hard to know what type of medical care you need, like whether you should go to the emergency room or wait for your doctor's office to open. However, we want you to feel secure about your choice for care, which is why we've created a list of symptoms that may indicate you need to visit the emergency room: -Back pain, when it is unbearable or accompanied by fever, numbness, weakness, confusion, slurred speech, vision loss or loss of control over bladder or bowels -Broken bones, when the pain is severe or there is a visible deformity -Chest pain, when it is crushing or squeezing and accompanied by other heart attack symptoms, such as shortness of breath or nausea -Concussion, when you have lost consciousness, even briefly, or experience amnesia, vomiting, slurred speech or a seizure -Flu, when symptoms become severe, such as having trouble breathing, vomiting uncontrollably or becoming dehydrated -Side pain, when it is severe and occurs in the lower right stomach, side or back or is accompanied by fever, nausea, diarrhea or blood in the urine -Stomach pain, when accompanied by a hard or tender stomach, nausea, shortness of breath, fever or irregular heartbeat Trouble breathing, when breathing stops, is noisy or high-pitched and comes with pain in the chest or severe shortness of breath If you are unsure if your symptoms require an emergency room visit, you can speak to a nurse 24/7 by calling our Consult-A-Nurse® team at (888) 685-1598. The Emergency room at HCA Florida Englewood Hospital is open 24/7 to provide fast, high-quality emergency services. You can count on us to be there for you. Urine may have a variety of colors. It usually ranges from a deep amber or honey color to a light straw color, with many golden variations in between. The color of urine can tell you a lot about your body. 🧍♂️ Here is what the urine colors indicate: - No Color/Transparent: You’re drinking a lot of water, and you may want to cut back. - Pale Straw Color: You’re normal, healthy, and well-hydrated. - Transparent yellow: You’re normal. - Dark Yellow: Normal but drink some water soon. - Amber or honey: Your body isn’t getting enough water. Drink some now. - Syrup or brown ale: You could have liver disease or severe dehydration. Drink water and see your doctor if it persists. - Pink to Red: There is the possibility of blood in your urine. Contact your doctor as this could possibly be a sign of kidney disease, tumors, urinary tract infections, or prostate problems. - Orange: You may not be drinking enough water. Contact your doctor as this could be a liver or bile duct condition. - Foaming or Fizzing: A harmless hydraulic effect, if occasional. This could indicate excess protein in your diet or a kidney problem, so see a doctor if foaming happens all of the time. Outside influences of what substances you put into your body can change the color of your urine. For instance, some medications, laxatives, chemotherapy drugs, and or even what you eat, can create concerns. However, there are some tests that are prescribed by your Provider which will help to diagnose urinary tract infections for example, which can also make your urine darker than normal. You can tell a lot from looking at your urine, however you can tell a lot more from the urinalysis that you receive along with a regular physical examination from your doctor. It’s one of the best things you can do for your health. 💚 www.wc-health.com #healthcare #medicine #medical #doctor #nurse #doctors #wellness #healthy #mentalhealth #nurses #nevada #lasvegas #reno #healthcareheros #nursing #mentalhealthmatters
