If you're wondering about the difference between #equality and #equity, look no further than this visual. Equality means that everyone is treated the same, with equal access to opportunities, rights, and status. Equity, on the other hand, means that everyone is treated fairly and impartially, taking into account their individual circumstances. While equality aims for an end-state where everyone is equal, equity recognizes that individual differences exist and that fairness requires treating individuals differently to achieve an impartial outcome. So, which one should we strive for? Both are important, but understanding the difference is crucial in building a just and inclusive society. #socialjustice #inclusion #diversity

Individual differences should be seen as strengths rather than limitations. Embracing and celebrating these differences can lead to a more inclusive and understanding society.
