Editor-in-Chief, American Indian Law Review || Area 3 Rep, National Native American Law Student Association || J.D. Candidate at the University of Oklahoma College of Law
In the midst of tornadoes, their warnings, and watches, I've completed my second year of Law School! (Seriously, I had a final postponed due to forecasted severe weather and studied for two others during tornado watches. Classic Oklahoma.) It was another great year at OU! Last month, I was named a Justice John Paul Stevens Foundation Fellow. The Foundation's grant will enable me to spend my summer working in the Office of the Attorney General of the Muscogee Nation. I am incredibly excited to learn from the warriors there, especially AG Geri Wisner! Over the course of the last year, I was blessed to serve as the National NALSA VP. I look forward to continuing that work as the National NALSA Area 3 Representative. The entire Board has huge plans for NNALSA's 55th year, led again by Eldred D. Lesansee. He's gonna make me look great! Finally, I am proud to be published by the American Indian Law Review, but even more ready to work as the next Editor-In-Chief. J. Santana Spangler-Day left some huge shoes to fill, but I'm gonna give it my best shot! I'm blessed to be supported by such a great group of friends and family. I couldn't make it through law school without them all. It was a busy year, but it's in the books, two down and one to go!
Congrats man, you deserve it!
Congratulations
