IT Business Consultant providing a human approach to Digital Transformation @ The Process Play | Business Analysis | Process Optimization | Predictive and Generative Artificial Intelligence

I’m starting off this post by saying “Thank You” out loud. ▪ To my Angels that guide me and to those that inspire and support me. ▪ To my team at The Process Play for welcoming me with open arms, trusting, and challenging me. ▪ To ServiceNow and Northeastern University London for facilitating a great opportunity. ▪ To myself for constantly showing up with a fire in my belly. As is for many people out there, these past few years have been exceptionally difficult. I’ve learned more about loss and tapping into resilience than I ever thought would be necessary - but nothing can stop tough lessons from coming. I share that simply to say this — Over the past few years, a lot of my foundation was reduced to rubble. Stones, pieces of brick, metal rods, concrete; all scattered across the landscape of my life. A year ago this week I began my bootcamp in Service Design and Data Management, marking this as the week that I began to collect the pieces. I used those fragments of loss and rocks of failure and started architecting my faithful “rubble staircase”. I’ll be the first to admit, it didn’t look like much. A singular pile of debris is where I started, but each pile formed a step and contributed to a landing, and each step and landing contributed to getting me off of the ground. What I've shared doesn’t have many frills, but it carries 2 important lessons: 1) A staircase can be made of neatly laid bricks, or from the rubble of your last unsuccessful endeavour - a staircase is a staircase, regardless! 2) Remember that when things fall to pieces it is largely a sign of renewal - when life throws stones:         1.   Take cover.     2.   Collect the rubble.     3.   Build your staircase. Have a great weekend everyone! 👋🏾
