As another year is coming to a close and many of us enter a time of celebration and reflection we cannot but ask ourselves: What is life like for those less privileged than us?   ·     According to the United Nations 150 million children may be homeless. ·     According to a UNICEF report released on 2021, the number of children with disabilities globally is estimated at almost 240 million. Children with disabilities have been found to be disadvantaged and discriminated: o  49 per cent more likely to have never attended school. o  51 per cent more likely to feel unhappy. o  32 per cent more likely to experience severe corporal punishment. ·     A new report prepared by UNICEF before the currently running COP 28 was given the title “The climate-changed child” as children mostly get forgotten in the climate discussion although they are most vulnerable to the risks and consequences.   Join our community of supporters today!   This year we will reach thousands of children in vulnerable situations who need our help.
