However, amidst the pressure, I remain grounded as a Yoruba Social Worker, weaving my cultural insights into the fabric of my research. Excited to share my latest contribution, "Indigenous Social Work Practice: The Influence of Yoruba Concepts on Effective Intervention in Social Work Settings." As my transformative study abroad program, Introduction to Displacement Studies: A European Perspective concludes, I am overwhelmed with gratitude for the experiences and knowledge gained during these four months. During my time abroad, I had the opportunity to participate in a semester long research seminar where I focused on how systemic failures can lead to delinquency. More specifically, I focused on these systemic failures contributing to delinquency within displaced populations. The research journey involved an examination of institutional structures, policy frameworks, and social dynamics that intersect with displaced experiences. By advocating for improved social support systems and culturally sensitive policies, we can begin to dismantle the barriers that contribute to delinquency among displaced communities. This research is not just an academic endeavor; it is a call to action. I am passionate about continuing this dialogue and being part of the collective effort to create environments where every individual has the opportunity to thrive.

The BSS topic is "Populations", but as many of you know already, it's not a demography summer school. We'll talk about economic perpectives, public health problems, legal issues, etc..., around the many challenges and opportunity for populations / people living in Africa.      Format : The Bordeaux Summer School (BSS) Africa 2024 will be held mainly online, with some face-to-face time (small groups of students will be able to meet at BSS partner universities).   BSS Africa 2024 is designed: For master's and doctoral students (in France and abroad) interested in the unique challenges and opportunities that African populations will face in the decades to come, and who wish to deepen their knowledge and improve their methodological and interdisciplinary skills in terms of of research and action in favor of sustainable African cities.   Students It is aimed in particular at all masters/doctoral
