It’s been an incredible month at Bunzl Greenham so far. Meet a lot of people and have learnt so much. So here are my 5 key takeaways: 1. The Importance of Relationships: Building strong connections with clients is crucial. Taking the time to understanding their needs and concerns lays the foundation for successful partnerships. 2. Attention to Detail: Paying attention to even the smallest details can make such a big difference. From order accuracy to timely communication, every interaction shapes the client's experience. 3. The Power of Adaptability: Change is inevitable but it’s how we adapt and grow that defines our success. Learning to pivot quickly and efficiently respond to change to ensure a smooth operation. 4. Continuous Learning: I don’t believe I know it all. Every day brings new opportunities to learn and grow. Whether it's expanding product knowledge or honing negotiation skills, embracing a mindset of continuous learning has been essential for both my personal and professional development. 5. Team Collaboration: Collaborating effectively with colleagues across departments has helped to strengthens my ability to deliver exceptional service and results. After a restful holiday break, I am happy to be back at the ballpark and BUSY as we gear up for an exciting year! As I shift my focus on elevating communications and enhancing the employer brand strategy for the Pittsburgh Pirates, I wanted to share a vision board to define my season. It is great to see leadership in the field. Dealing with front-line team members should remind leadership of 3 critical keys to success. #1- Your internal customers, especially customer-facing team members, are as important, if not more so than, your external customers. #2 - Empathy is free! Treat others as you want to be treated! When I was starting my career, my mentor told me that you have 2 ears and 1 mouth...listen twice as much as you talk when working cross-functionally with others within the organization. #3- Be humble! Gain your success by helping others reach their goals! Remember, most employees do not leave because of pay but because of the way they are treated or by the culture of their workplace.

🌟 Embracing the Culture of Appreciation at Crumbl Pensacola/Gulf Breeze 🌟 Early in my career, I learned the importance of Employee Development, Customer Service, Growth, & Profitability from the amazing team at Enterprise Mobility. I strongly believe that a focus on our team's development and company culture naturally leads to success in the other core areas. One practice we've adopted to nurture our team and culture is our "Crew Shout Outs" shared weekly through Slack. But why does this matter? 1️⃣ It cultivates a culture of appreciation, encouraging our emerging leaders to actively seek and celebrate the positives within our team. Acknowledging the great work happening around us! 2️⃣ These shout outs foster a strong sense of community and collaboration among our entire Crew. Public recognition uplifts individuals, creating an environment where everyone feels valued and motivated.
