During our annual General Manager meeting last week, five different groups worked together to help support a variety of causes in the DC area. They had the option to choose from: - Honor Flight: Welcoming Veterans at the memorials built in their honor - Carpenter's Shelter: Cooking a meal for those in need - Carpenter's Shelter: Adding a fresh coat of paint to brighten the space - National Park Service: Garbage pickup to help keep the National Mall clean - Capitol Building: Advocating for the senior living industry Everyone expressed such gratitude in being able to give back while spending time together in the process. What a wonderful opportunity to give back! I would definitely have chosen the Honor Flights option as my dad had the chance to go on one of these trips about 8 years ago. It was an amazing experience for him! Well done #MerrillGardnes!
