Addressing the patient backlog in veteran healthcare is essential before considering increasing patient numbers. As a retired service member navigating the system, I've experienced wait times of 2-3 months between appointments, highlighting the urgent need for improvement. Veterans deserve more than just enrollment in healthcare; they deserve timely and effective care that honors their service to our nation. The VA must conduct an independent review of its services' effectiveness, implementing successful processes across the board and retooling those that fall short. Just as with a struggling student, adding more tasks without addressing the underlying issues only exacerbates the problem. Veterans deserve real solutions, not bureaucratic red tape. Let's work together to ensure our veterans receive the quality care they've earned. #VA #VeteransHealth #SupportOurVeterans

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs announced a significant expansion of healthcare benefits for veterans exposed to toxins and hazards during military service. Starting March 5, veterans from various conflicts, including Vietnam, the Gulf War, Iraq, and Afghanistan, can directly enroll in VA healthcare without applying for other benefits. This expansion, one of the largest in veteran healthcare, covers those exposed to toxins during training or active duty within the United States. VA Secretary Denis McDonough emphasized the lifelong access veterans will have once enrolled. The expansion stems from the PACT Act, signed into law by President Biden in August 2022, providing additional benefits for conditions related to burn pit exposure. Over 500,000 veterans have already enrolled in VA healthcare since the law's passage. Eligible veterans can apply online or by phone to access these expanded benefits. As RCM (Revenue Cycle Management) professionals, our team can play a crucial role in assisting with enrollment processes for veterans seeking healthcare benefits from the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). Our RCM team is dedicated to ensuring that veterans receive the healthcare benefits they deserve and can provide valuable support throughout the enrollment process to make it as smooth and efficient as possible. In my real job outside of YouTube, we really deep dive into measuring success. Now our perspective is from an Information Operations Planner supporting military operations but…the concept remains the same. Whether you are assessing a marketing campaign, conducting sentiment analysis, or measuring the outcome of a Commander’s Endstate - same same. The VA is reporting a 91% approval rating from Veterans. This is solid. This also makes me start to question. Sentiment analysis can be easily skewed. Anywho, food for thought. Way to go, VA. Keep it up. The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs has expanded VA healthcare benefits for thousands of #veterans! According to the American Latino Veterans Association (ALVA), there are nearly 1.5 million #Latino veterans in the U.S. today. Latinos are projected to represent a growing portion of the minority veteran population, from 32% in 2020 (1.48M) to 36% in 2045 (1.55M). By 2045, Latinos will be 13% of the total veteran population! The expansion will cover all veterans who have served in any combat zone from the Vietnam War and forward. It also covers veterans who were never deployed but were exposed to toxins or hazards while training or on active duty at home. Check out the announcement about this much-needed coverage increase for US vets and share it with your #veteranemployees and #veteranstudents. 🧡 🎗 💙 #snhu #latinx #latine #hispanic #veteranbenefits #healthcare
In one of the largest-ever expansions of Veteran health care, all Veterans exposed to toxins and other hazards during military service — at home or abroad — will be eligible for VA health care beginning March 5
