*Candidate in the final round of an interview* Candidate: So, how’s the WFH policy like? HR: Oh, forgot to mention. We have 2 days of a mandatory WFH. Only in situations when Employees themselves insist to come office for those 2 days we allow working from office, otherwise WFH is highly encouraged and mandated. Candidate: Oh, that’s quite good. Yeah otherwise some people tend to come to office if we just call them as flexible/hybrid. Mandating WFH on certain days is the right way to go. Btw, which two days are they? HR: I would have asked you to guess. But no one ever guessed right. So I will myself tell you- Saturday and Sunday. Candidate: What?? But hiring manager told me it’s 5 days a week? HR: Yeah 5 days a week and 2 days on weekend. 🤣 🤣

🌿 Wherever it started, it is completely unprofessional to send out what a company hires for and, not be hiring for the positions. It is unprofessional, disrespectful including, dishonorable. Then there are companies that say they are hiring, invite individuals in for a interview. These prospective employees go through an interrogation not a interview by individuals from that company. This process can take place several times and, the individuals may still not gain employment from these companies. This is a complete waste of time and, money. If the owner of a company does not know what they want and, need, read the Resumes for prospective employees, call them for a respectful and, honorable interview, truly they have no business running the company. And, this goes for the individuals that operate companies too. There was a Respectful and, Honorable time when employers knew exactly what they wanted and, how much they would pay including, read Resumes before inviting an individual in for an interview with them. They were hired the same day and, presented all the information and, their true start date. Plus the employees were treated with respect and, appreciated. And, not all companies have to have employees work at the company office. Employees working from home saves money and, companies can hire more individuals to work for them. It even adds to employees not missing work. Facts. 🌿
