The goal: accomplish complex modernization quickly. To reduce complexity during the removal of legacy technologies, Kyndryl implemented a greenfield SAP S/4HANA-based platform on Microsoft Azure. The solution simplified processes across the company and consolidated 375 legacy tools into one SAP ecosystem. Don’t let perfection be the enemy of good. This was a mantra often echoed at Kyndryl during our 2-year transformation to reduce our portfolio of 1,800+ applications by more than 80%.
