The New York Law Journal just published my new piece, which covers how general counsels and others in the legal department might think about evaluating and deploying generative AI tools to support their work and the work of their clients. I co-authored this with the inimitable Charles Post (NYLS '10), who is Executive Vice President at Cimplifi. One argument we make here is that Gen AI make actually *create* new job opportunities for lawyers in lieu of threatening those jobs, particularly in areas such as risk management, AI governance, confidentiality, and ethics. Grateful to Professor Chinnu Joseph, Professor Hailey Litman, Ashley Christakis, CEDS, and Julian T. for joining me for the webinar hosted by Cimplifi and New York Law School in July, off which this article builds. #NYLS #Tricarico #Innovation Link: https://lnkd.in/dzwW_6mw
Michael Pastor and Charles Post, the article and webinar are incredibly helpful and timely resources. Thank you for leading the charge and amplifying this insight!
Love this! Congratulations on the publication!
Is there a way a simple urban-folk public interest attorney can read it without a paywall?
