🚀What an amazing and insightful two days at the Harvard Blockchain Conference (April 13 - April 14) hosted by Harvard Blockchain! It was an honor to hear from a diverse range of speakers🎤, each bringing their unique expertise in the blockchain space. Among the incredible sessions, my personal highlight was the discussion on Institutional Crypto moderated by Stephen Xi from MPCH, featuring speakers Josh Deems from Figment, Josh Burek from Circle, and Hadley Stern from Cold. Hadley Stern's insights went beyond just institutional integration; he articulated the idea that crypto and traditional banking are not adversaries, but rather essential partners in a symbiotic relationship - "they don't compete with banks but rather complete them". Josh Deems shared intriguing experiments with MiCA in the crypto space, while Josh Burek emphasized Circle's pivotal role in the digital asset industry and the future of institutional crypto investments. Overall, the conference was full of insights, covering topics ranging from payment tokens and stablecoins to crypto AI and market trends. The discussions on minting as a business model, Bitcoin L1 & L2, government digital dollar projects, and Solana's future projects were eye-opening.
