Every year when I grade Edge Hill University Professional Policing students Police Research Reports, I am astounded by the data they collect and the new knowledge and insights they generate. The wealth of new knowledge and its potential to further support and develop policing practice is not being utilised effectively (YET) - how do we make better use of all this amazing work? #knowledgeexchange #knowledgeexchangechallenge

While the rise of voluntary resignations in policing is a concern, there has been little research on why such numbers are increasing. In this article, PSO Partners Professor Sarah Charman and Dr Jemma Tyson summary findings from nearly 100 exit interviews among resigning police officers in England and Wales.
