Hi All - two months ago I was let go from Meta as part of the large scale company-wide layoff event. It came as a bit of a shock after having been with the company for only seven months, but I am excited to find my next opportunity. If you know of any companies that are hiring for senior Finance roles, please let me know - I would greatly appreciate it. Mike

An exciting day for our company as we can now share that NBA legend, philanthropist, and entrepreneur, Dr. Shaquille O'Neal, is a partner and investor in Campus. O’Neal has often described himself as being “big on education.” Not only did he earn his bachelor’s from LSU (while also playing in the NBA), he went on to earn an MBA, and an Ed.D. But he also understands that colleges haven't always kept pace with the aspirations and realities of today’s students – that we need a new way to go to college. LinkedIn network - I’m officially back in the game, looking for my next opportunity. As many of you know, I transitioned out of my FT role in March and *gave myself permission* to take time off. And I did. And it was awesome. I traveled. I became a backyard beekeeper. I chaperoned field trips. I spent hours and hours in the garden (anyone need tomatoes?). Giving myself that permission and following through - without guilt, BUT still recognizing and appreciating the privilege - is something I’m proud of. Now, though - it’s time to get back to work. I’m ready to dive into an executive marketing role (S/VP, Marketing / CMO), leading and building a team, hopefully doing good for the world and the people in it. From the beginning, we’ve tried to approach title insurance and the home closing process differently. It didn’t make sense to have individuals searching through stacks of documents to underwrite a policy when technology could do it much faster. Which is why I’m excited Doma has been named the 2022 Insurance Data Solution of the Year. Our proprietary Doma Intelligence Platform continues to provide relief to homebuyers who, with today’s technology, shouldn’t have to settle for anything less than an instant, digital #realestate closing experience.

Doma continues to grow at an explosive rate (see Analyst Day deck, 2Q21 earnings) and our FP&A team is expanding at an equal pace. The role - Lead Financial Officer, Corporate Support, Home Appraisal, and Home Warranty - has direct and consistent exposure to the executive leadership team, and will require someone with a proven track record of success in FP&A roles of increasing prominence and responsibility.
