Crohn's and Colitis can be crippling - believe me, I know! As a '1 in 335' people in the UK I am happy to say that having emergency surgery for a stoma saved my life in 2021 due to Crohn's disease complications. Yes I've had to make some small adjustments to my life style, but thanks to the surgery I've been in remission for 2.5 years - the longest period of time since i was diagnosed in 2015. We are 10-y old! Attached our Letter in Obesity Surgery on our current status and future perspective. In brief, our mission and vision: • Expansion: Promote Young IFSO among young talents worldwide, especially in countries/regions that are fresh adopters of MBS. • Education: Give equal chances to our young members to learn, share, and collaborate. • Evidence: We need more data and evidence on advancing MBS. ASCO 2024: SU2C-SARC032 is an interesting phase II trial of adding neoadjuvant pembro with concurrent RT followed by surgery and adjuvant pembro in stage III undifferentiated pleomorphic sarcoma (UPS) including myxofibrosarcoma and pleomorphic/dedifferentiated liposarcoma (LPS) that showed significant improvement in DFS at 2 years. https://lnkd.in/d2A37DDU
