As we celebrate Black History, we'd love to talk about some books that have changed the team at Stay in Your Lane. We have learned, grown, and enjoyed. Today is: Take My Coffee Back: Reflections on Tupac, Musical Theater, Faith, and Being Black in America, by Tyler Merritt We adore Tyler. Tyler shares his life stories as a Black man in America in his book. His famous videos, "Before You Call the Cops" and "Walking While Black," show what he's been through. He tells his stories with honesty and humor, making it easy to understand what it's like to grow up Black. This book is good for anyone who wants to learn about this experience in a simple yet deep way. Tyler is funny authentic, and smart. Check out his YouTube videos. Grab this book. This month, Berkley is celebrating Black History Month, an annual celebration of achievements by African Americans and a time for recognizing their role in U.S. history. Since 1976, every American president has designated February as #BlackHistoryMonth and endorsed a specific theme.
