"How has your day been?" Wait— I just remembered I don’t care. BUT— Imagine you just got home from a long day. And someone who cares asked you this; You could easily say your day was fine and it ends there. But if it was your spouse... FINE won't cut it. This is why you go ahead to add details. So you talk about the unusual stuff. Like the weirdo you saw on the road doing yoga poses on the sidewalk. Or the one who tried to roller skate on top of a railing in the park and broke his neck instead. Or the one who you saw singing your favorite song… OFF KEY. (As far as I’m concerned, this one hurts more than any neck injury SUE ME!) Now, These are all highlights that stand out on a busy day. You will never recall the guy who used the ATM before you... Or the lady who used the vending machine after you. Those events are normal. They make NO MARK. And therefore, do not remain in the mind. POOF! Forgotten in a flash. How memorable is your content? Ads, emails, posts, stories, newsletters, all whatnot— What did you put in it to make sure your audience remembers it after 2 hours? Or 2 days? Or (DARE I SAY) 2 months? Because folks don't buy anything that they cannot remember. P.S: Wanna never be forgotten? Build a GIANT GOLD statue of yourself in Times Square, New York. Wait— NOPE!  Back up. Unrealistic. Hmm what to do... Okay I got it! Use: ✅ Storytelling, ✅ Popular news/gossip, and ✅ Humor, to convey your message. Nobody can resist those three demons. Nobody forgets those in a hurry. Wait right here. 🚫 Not so fast. Dreams and goals are calling! They're right over there ... on the other side of doubt. Close enough to see, feel and hunger for. But, uncertainty creeps in. Dang it. The culprit behind fear. Humans like security a lot, even if it comes at a cost. Have you ever been backed into a proverbial corner? Felt boxed in? 📦 I know I have. Corners are uncomfortable places. Getting out becomes a priority. To be successful, uncertainty needs to take a back seat. It has zero value! But with a heart that's right, a solid work ethic and a good idea, doing what we've always dreamed of is within reach. Rosa Parks was tired of that corner.
