Marschall S. Runge, M.D., Ph.D. announced today he will retire following the conclusion of his contract in June 2025. I remember negotiating with him for my client to join Rex Hospital, which was then and is still part of the UNC Health Care System. He was representing UNC, and he was tough to gain any ground on. He lead with UNC is the beacon of virtue, and terms don’t matter, which gave him the upper hand in contract terms! Congratulations!
