He came to the UK from Uzbekistan when he was just 17, and claimed asylum not long after. We are happy to say that he now has his refugee status, and can start moving on with his life! The 2023 Pride Run raised £8500 for Micro Rainbow! On Saturday 6th July, Micro Rainbow Communications Manager Rosalind Duignan-Pearson met with Pride Run Race Director Dominic Addison to hand over the cheque alongside some of the London Frontrunners. Taking place every September since 2003, the Pride Run is a not-for-profit 10km run through east London’s Victoria Park. Every year it raises money for LGBTQI causes, and the Pride Run has chosen to partner with Micro Rainbow again in 2024, which is the 21st year of the Pride Run.
