Middendorf Foundation’s Post

We are excited to announce 3 of our June grantees, all public charter schools dedicated to enhancing the educational experience in the area.  Unlike other public schools, charter schools do not receive funds for facilities expenses, making these grants crucial for their operations and improvements.   #InvestInEducation #CharterSchools #Baltimore #CommunitySupport #EducationMatters #PublicSchools #SchoolImprovement 1.    City Neighbors Foundation: Operating three public charter schools in northeast Baltimore City, they received funds for an auditorium renovation. 2.    The Empowerment Academy: This City charter school, serving grades PreK-8 with a focus on "Literacy through the Arts," received a grant to repair a non-functional elevator. https://lnkd.in/e7CNGS2G 3.    Watershed Public Charter School: An environmental arts elementary-middle school in Baltimore County, they received funds to upgrade and expand security cameras and key card swipe systems to meet BCPS technology and emergency response standards.
