Meet Ashley Woodin, a Laboratory Support Coordinator who joined MTN in 2016. Ashley plays a crucial role in supporting the transplant process and advocating for patients, all while fostering trust and understanding in the communities we serve. As a Black woman in healthcare, she’s passionate about breaking down barriers and encouraging more diverse participation in organ donation. Join Our Leadership Team as an Executive Assistant to the CEO & CFO! Midwest Transplant Network (MTN) is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Executive Assistant to support our CEO and CFO in Westwood, KS. In this pivotal role, you’ll provide comprehensive administrative support to our executive leaders and play a key role in facilitating communication with our Governing and Advisory Boards. Key Responsibilities: • Provide high-level administrative support to the CEO and CFO, including sophisticated calendar management and preparation for key meetings. • Act as a liaison for the Governing and Advisory Boards, managing communications, scheduling meetings, and maintaining records. • Support the organization and coordination of Board meetings, conferences, and other key events, ensuring everything runs smoothly from start to finish.  Qualifications: • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and plan effectively. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with various stakeholders. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to quickly learn new software tools. Join Our Team as an Organ Procurement Coordinator! Midwest Transplant Network (MTN) is seeking a dedicated and compassionate professional to join our team as an Organ Procurement Coordinator in Westwood, KS. In this critical role, you'll be at the forefront of saving lives, responsible for the evaluation, management, and coordination of organ donor activities to maximize organ placement and recovery in accordance with the Mission of MTN. Key Responsibilities: • Maintain a robust on-call schedule, managing the evaluation and clinical management of potential organ and tissue donors. • Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure the best outcomes for donors and recipients. • Manage all aspects of donor care in our state-of-the-art Donor Care Unit (DCU), including operating clinical equipment and performing essential procedures. Qualifications: • Certification or licensure (NREMT-P, RRT, or RN) with three or more critical care experience, is strongly preferred. An undergraduate degree in health sciences or an equivalent field of study and professional clinical work experience is required. • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and independently. • A commitment to MTN’s core values: Belonging, Respect, Excellence, Accountability, and Leadership. From leading sessions as subject matter experts to moderating discussions to serving as panelists, it was a great opportunity for leading and learning among peers in the mission of organ, eye and tissue donation. RTI Donor Services, Inc. recognized MTN today for 15 years of partnership in healing lives through tissue and eye donation. They shared an inspirational letter written by a 16-year-old tissue recipient to the family of his 16-year-old-donor hero.
