I've missed you all and it's great to be back on the Links. 8 years ago I stepped away from the digital agency world to follow my passion for the outdoors. LinkedIn was my life, for almost a decade. Then I started Spirit of 1876, a company focused on the overland and outdoor market. Unfortunately no one in business is interested in anything outdoors, so I walked away from LinkedIn and built a brand the young way. That's a joke. I mean Instagram was certainly valuable but I'm a joke for ignoring this platform for so long despite knowing it's value. I degress... Today our shop carries the top brands in the industry, and rooftop Tents have always been a large part of our business. For the consumer the market is crowded. They are expensive, difficult to shop and often come with questions and challenges, mainly logistical. I've been asked, if we've created a strong brand, built community, gained trust and established ourselves as a leader in the category, why haven't we developed our own rooftop tent? Short answer, I'm not an engineer. More importantly, I haven't thought of anything I'd be proud of or seen a design worthy of considering, until now. I'm incredibly proud to join the talented team of Roof Space. German designed and engineered to provide the best of both worlds, Roof Space combines the spaciousness and small footprint of a soft-shell tent with the durability and ease of use of a hard-shell. If you're into camping or have ever considered a roof top tent, I encourage you to check out Roof Space. The Kickstarter for our newest tent is now live, and believe me when I say it's hands down the most impressive rooftop tent I have ever laid hands on. https://lnkd.in/gFn2-JNm #rooftoptent #rtt #camping #outdoors #overland #overlanding #camp #roofspace #kickstarter #innovation #optoutside #spiritof1876
