After 14 wonderful, very rewarding, and highly fulfilling years at Rent-A-Center, I have retired. Rent-A-Center was a fantastic place to end my 48 years of working and long IT career; the people there are committed, dedicated, and, most of all, truly family. The work environment is second to none and all employees have the ability to make a difference; regardless of your position or responsibilities, you opportunities are endless. The operations team is solely focused on providing the best experience for their customers and co-workers, and are willing to take risks and make sacrifices to ensure the welfare of all. Special thanks go to David Oles who took a chance and hired me in 2005, John Whitehead who led in building the Business Intelligence team, and Maureen Short and Tiffany Watson for their years of mentorship and daily guidance the I constantly leaned upon. I will miss the family, friends, and rewarding work at RAC as I enter into the next phase of my life.

How did you work for so long for a place that exploits their customers takes advantage of the employees and reward people who will not only bend but break company policy to make the numbers look better for their bosses . It may not be that way in the whole company but the district i live in is from the top down. There is no work family balance its all about numbers so far from the original mission statement its laughable.
