How to Pack Vases for Moving

It's that time of year where my fam keeps our bikey transportation choices, (mostly) business as usual. Except now, we add a sprinkle of festive cheer! Cue #treebybike ! If we had a deeper conversation, I'd say that it's a priority that my fam takes alternatives to driving a car where and when we can, especially for short trips. But, that can be a mouthful when explaining to my kids why we aren't driving 15-25 mins (when you factor in getting car parking) to get our Christmas tree. We put everything else in that bucket every day, why not a tree? Besides, we could bundle up and bike door to door in 15 (which we happily did). So much of my TDM program planning work, focused on commute mode shift, is really all about how can we deliver alternatives disguised as opportunities for a more convenient, more cost effective, less stressful and also FUN commute! Hot tip, a promise of hot chocolate afterwards and a spontaneous trip to the neighborhood playground go a long way when talking to the 10 and under crowd, 10 out of 10, would recommend 😎 . As we approach mid-summer I would like to share a few tips that might help you! ☀

Team bonding is a term you often hear about, a concept you believe in, and a practice you can apply daily. However, coming together in a sunny destination with delicious food, great weather, friendly people, and enjoyable team activities brings a completely different dimension to team bonding. We recently had our first Stackstat-ion, a getaway from our usual routines to focus solely on each other. I must admit, it was intense but definitely worth the investment in time. My biggest takeaway is that taking more than just a day or two away with the team really makes a difference. We organized simple yet fun activities that were easy for everyone to join. And after 9 months of rainy, gray weather in the Netherlands, the sunshine was a real energy booster. Enjoy some drone shots from the Faro region.
