I had the amazing honor to give the commencement talk to the Brookfield Academy 2022 graduating class. When I was first asked to do this, my immediate thought was to say no. I had all kinds of what I thought were ‘reasons’ for thinking no, but they were really all about fear. And then I thought, I challenge people all the time to embrace fear as a sign that you’ve been presented with a challenge, an opportunity to push past the fear and accomplish something new. Taking my own advice converted my reservation into an easy yes. And after 5 months of prep, 6 versions of the talk, some help from my family and Deb DiSandro, I did it. And you know what, it was worth it! Instead of being an observer, I was a participant! #commencement2022 #brookfieldacademy #mikemalatesta

2yMike besides over coming fear as a reason to participate I would say based on my experience and knowledge of you as a professional that it’s your talent, knowledge and insights that would prompt me to want you to speak at this event. Were my kids at this graduation event I would have confidence that this presentation would be great value for them to be exposed to - no doubt about it. BTW you are looking good Mike! Sean
