🚀***NEW PODCAST ALERT***🚀 Dennis Yu – On a Mission to Create 1 Million Jobs [Episode 484] My guest in this episode is with Dennis Yu, a flat-out digital marketing and virtual assistant expert who helps regular businesses become industry leaders. This guy blew my mind. Which is why I am republishing the episode that originally dropped last year. We talk about how he was 100% academic-focused -- he calls it Paper Tiger -- before meeting and working with Al Casey who, years ago – decades ago – was the CEO of American Airlines. We talk about how Dennis had everything stacked against him as a kid, and his belief in Kaqun Oxygen Baths, which I’d never heard of and is fascinating, and the importance of honoring the people he meets. We also talk about his mission to create 1 million jobs all over the world (and that he’s already well along on that path). He even did a live analysis of my new company’s website, and let’s just say it was eye-opening – and not in a good way. We have a lot to do there, but I feel good about the opportunities. You can’t help but be inspired by Dennis. I hope you are. I hope you love the episode. Listen and Enjoy! Audio version is 𝐎𝐔𝐓 TODAY 𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐋𝐋 major podcast platforms! Positioning Entrepreneurs For More Authority & Exposure Through Story Driven Marketing | FTSE250 Business Strategist | Podcast Host
Ever wondered how to grow your business influence? AKA your brand? Take it from someone who moved countries and started from scratch. Here it is: - Become a thought leader in something that relates to what you do/provide. - Be authentic and vulnerable, whilst showing authority. - Write how you think, not how you speak. - Stay as a student, not a guru. - Show your personality. Fundamentally: Be consistent. Have systems in place to help you do this without burning out; SOP's are massive for us. Bonus: - Have a presence on LinkedIn. - Build your newsletter and email list. - Start a podcast. This was the best thing I've ever done. Have you got any more tips to add?

“Someone woke up today with the resource you need” I have just finished the Daniel Priestley episode of Diary of a CEO and it’s by far and away the best podcast I have listened to for a long time! So many amazing takeaways and articulated in a way that hits home: - Reptile vs Visionary vs Auto-Pilot - The CAPSTONE pitch model - With or Without you energy - Functionality vs Vitality - The importance of a balanced team with complimentary energies - Personal branding should never be ‘look at me’, it should be ‘look at this’ which resonates massively with me One of the lines that everyone should take note of though, is that someone woke up today with the resource you need. I’ve always been a strong advocate of networking but the more my network has evolved, the more my belief of what is possible has expanded. I strongly recommend giving this one a listen and have included a link in the comments. #DOAC #networking #podcast #mindset

Applying Craft @ Scale. Award-winning, growth-driving B2C & B2B. Startups -> Fortune 10. Remodeling Business with Confidence.
I am the #1 most influential marketing voice on every platform. You should follow me, buy my book, subscribe to my podcast, check out my latest speaking engagement... aspire to be me. Nope. No where close. I passed on that years ago to focus my time and energy on delivering what I love doing... helping people accomplish personal and business goals in 1:1, small group settings. It was never really about me... it was about you and the collective good WE could do - together. Personally, I just got a kick out of doing stuff to get personal bests. The classic runner mentality of training 40 hours a week to improve performance by a matter of seconds. Doing the work. Doing stuff no one else had done yet, or getting more done with better outcomes. Helping others think differently. Just a friendly reminder that you should be aspiring to be the best version of you... using others to inspire, motivate and help enable your journey... but their way does not have to be your way. #MakeItYours

I listened to this podcast, from HBR that was back in 2022, talking about Strategy and how it is often over-complicated. The speaker started with what I think is the most important part of the discussion: "Strategy’s simple. It’s a plan to create value. The way a company plans to create that value, that’s the strategy of the company." I have seen this over my career way too often. I believe the best way to determine an organization's strategy is simply just to ask. It's amazing what you find out when you do the most simplest form of communicating (and one that most parents will agree, is taught at length with their kids - if you want something, just have to ask). Speaking from the point of view from someone who will take a quick 5-minute task into a 30-60 minute deep dive (hey, I'm process oriented and find ways to figure out how to make it easier), we often over complicate things. The irony is with my career, and goal of becoming a Strategy Consultant, I don't do this with clients as I try to let them talk. I hope you find value in this podcast or at least my POV (it's ok to say ramblings) on how I approach/view things. Hope you have a great day! #strategyconsulting #strategicthinking #overcomplicatingstrategy

2moGreat interview, Mike Malatesta! Dennis is a fascinating person. For a guy who didn't say much as a kid, he's obviously making up for lost time. Tons of value here.
