Trust is built through frequent, transparent, bidirectional communication between senior leadership and employees. When management takes the time to listen without defensiveness, and to communicate in detail about plans for new projects and programs, process change is more easily embraced by employees asked to implement them.

It is not meant to favor one viewpoint but multiple points of view, which can improve our understanding of the world around us while strengthening our team and organization. Simon is a proficient leader and his programs are legendary. Having delt with the challenges in the corporate world he highlights, I appreciate his discussions. Here are some ideas: 1. Leaders take us to new places in business 2. They must be deeply involved personally 3. Great communication is the lifeblood 4. Trust is critical in building a cohesive team structure. 5. The power of leadership comes from the support of those who you lead. 6. Great leaders are drafted by the team. Not self imposed power handlers. 7. Education is a leadership requirement both formal and informal because then enlightenment is recognizable. These areas when built as a positivity based cohesive team, great work can happen often! Workers need: 1. A Mission 2. A Vision 3. Goals, objectives & measures 4. Communication, trust Finally great ideas are built by regular people. Yet while words propel, actions show results for believing in!

As we go into 2024, the suggestions and advice Simon Sinek offer will be more valuable, not less. If you're not pushing your teams for more transparency and deeper trust, you will be left behind.

We need more of this as a part of the plan and budget for it for the next year.
