I was chatting with some teachers the other day and they expressed they are physically and emotionally drained. The challenges of the job - lack of engagement from parents and students, student absenteeism- has taken a toll on many educators. We often discuss the challenges that students face which impact their performance; yet we don’t spend time supporting the teachers who may also have challenges they are facing as well.
