We are currently seeking Twin Cities employers who are interested in hiring MPS graduating seniors for entry-level full-time and part-time positions across all industry sectors. The day will include one-to-one conversations with interested students and activities hosted by companies to engage students while they wait for their interview slots. Date/Time: Saturday, June 8 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Location: North Career & Technical Education (CTE) Center (1500 Knox Ave. N.). Enter through Door 1 on Knox Ave. Who should participate? Any Twin Cities employer who has an interest in hiring 18-year-old students interested in entering the workforce immediately after high school. How do I register to participate? Fill out the information in this form: https://lnkd.in/gE87e5cu. We will add you to our event distribution list and send participant details. What should we bring to this event? A desire to hire talented, young adults into entry-level positions. Staff who can conduct one-to-one interviews with students. Information about your company. Applications. Giveaways with company logos (no stickers). Displays that represent your industry. Mini-activities that students could engage with while they wait for their opportunity to interview. A special note about our students: MPS students will bring a diverse set of technical and soft skills to your company. Many of the graduating seniors who will attend this event have acquired industry-specific technical skills through our CTE career pathway programs and are highly motivated to enter the workforce. How Can Students Register for Now Hiring Week? Students can register for Now Hiring Week on the Symplicity platform. Follow these steps to register.
