I was chatting with Jasper Sneff Nanni and Rafael DeLeon at an AIR - Alliance for Innovative Regulation event when they mentioned a topic that piqued my interest: community banks are in the very early days of formalizing policies around AI usage. But it's imperative they do so because they tend to rely on third-party vendors rather than building their own AI capabilities. Thanks as well to Jeffery Trammell Kimberly Kirk Ryan H. and Julieann Thurlow for sharing their thoughts as leaders at community banks -- for example, how much can employees milk ChatGPT before they are compromising sensitive customer information? -- and Jim Perry and Jey Kumarasamy for chiming in with their perspectives.
