What's getting lost in the broader story of banking-as-a-service are the growing opportunities for banks -- especially large ones like Fifth Third Bank and J.P. Morgan -- within embedded finance. Alex Johnson Brian Pike Jonah Crane Kirsten Muetzel told me more.
Good insights, Miriam. I agree with Matt Williamson's observation that the battleground will be over who really owns the customer. When it comes meeting the needs of small businesses, community banks are where it's at.

1moGreat article Miriam - Eventually "embedded" will be dropped and it will just be services facilitated by the entity that "owns" the customer or a 3rd party within the ecosystem they participate in. The battle ground will be over who really owns the customer.
