Great article Miriam - Eventually "embedded" will be dropped and it will just be services facilitated by the entity that "owns" the customer or a 3rd party within the ecosystem they participate in. The battle ground will be over who really owns the customer.

Good insights, Miriam. I agree with Matt Williamson's observation that the battleground will be over who really owns the customer. When it comes meeting the needs of small businesses, community banks are where it's at.
