By no means this is an exhaustive list, but it covers the most important skills which need to be developed and imbibed in the personality.

Is Thaksin Shinawatra a new mediator?? VOA interviewed me regarding former Prime Minister of Thailand, Thaksin's mediation role in Myanmar affairs.   As the saying goes: nothing is impossible in politics.  From then his release by parole, Thaksin former prime minister of Thailand inch forward in Thai politics insinuately. But he can’t help unveil and hold back his inclination of politics and diplomatic affairs. So, he is poised to deal with and discuss regional actors to be involved in Diplomatic and Political affairs through his shadowy ruling Thai Party, Pheu Thai.  For instance, meeting with Hun Sen former long-term prime minister of Cambodia highlight his old sources can be used in future regional affairs.  Recently he went to Chaing Mai and caught up with General Yerk Serk, a prominent ethnic rebel leader of Myanmar and backed by successive Thai Governments.  Besides, he had met with several ethnic armed groups in March and then, the KNU, KNPP, and the rival government of Myanmar NUG during too.   Apperantly, it is concerned about Myanmar's situation and how to help his role in Mediation.  This projection is more likely to be approximate because of some ethnic armed groups are preparing to hold a convene and drag him to be legalized invitation in the current crisis of Myanmar to be solved.  In fact, he isn’t an estranged person to Myanmar politics and actors. To say the least of it, he has known two sides of Myanmar's conflict actors for a long time, especially military generals and ethnic armed groups. Besides, his influence still remains on the ruling Thai party and his some businesses still have a presence in Myanmar. The Thai Government is only a few governments who actively involved in Myanmar’s negotiation processes to get breakthrough from current turmoil and upheaval.  But It still remains uncertainties over Thakshin role to be involved in Myanmar’s conflict resolution processes.  One thing is from the Junta SAC. Their notion is it would be welcome if Thaksin took up as a facilitator role per se. They won't accept as a mediator role because of the SAC only accepts those who can follow their roadmap and guidelines, either facilitators or counterparts of discussion.  For instance, the SAC denied the Chinese envoy asking for to meet detainee ousted leader Suu Kyi in 2021. Only they accept, China’s mediation role in 2023, when it comes to worse their situation in Northern Shan as rebels joint forces wage against them co-ordinated attacks.  It implies only if they can accept as a foreign country undertaking a mediator role, similar grim and bear it notion.  The second thing is the nature of the stakeholders of Myanmar conflicts including the NUG and some ethnic armed groups. They are not streetwise, clever, and savvy work out of enemies’ conditions presumptive in advance assessment.
