Alisa Kalacheva is a master's student in Data Science and a new hero of our story about the best summer internships. Alisa had an internship in BiZone, a company that deals with cybersecurity and digital risk management. 👩💻 The Skoltech student was tasked with developing an ML model that would classify sites by their subject matter. This model should help identify malicious sites, sites with suspicious activity, and even outwardly "good" sites that actually hide risks for companies. "I collected data from websites (this was most of the work), texts, links, metadata, and wrote handlers of this data. I developed a model and wrapped it in a service that developers inside this company can now use by simply writing a request to the service," shared Alisa.
