With all the day-to-day business and urgent tasks, you often forget to network.🌐 You could: 1) Make an appointment with a colleague from another department to learn something new and broaden your horizons. 2) Reach out to someone you met at a training or conference to get inspired and talk about challenges similar to yours. 3) Reach out to someone from your network at a previous employer to get an update. Let me tell you about the role of our table #hosts ➖they ‘host’ their table during our round table, 2 course networking lunch, and look after making sure each member and guest gets a chance to introduce themselves and the #business they represent ➖their vital role makes sure that first time guests are made to feel really welcome, and bring them out of their shell ➖they ask questions of each person that helps everyone else around the table understand how they can act as a ‘signpost’ to others businesses ➖they can answer any questions from newbies about how the membership works and how the network can help them level up over the course of the annual #membership ➖as long standing members, they can offer to introduce other members to those on their table if they feel there’s a potential #collaboration opportunity It’ll always mean a lot to me that all of our table hosts really do go the extra mile to make everybody feel really welcome 🤗
