Out in the Fleet, not missing a beat! BQC-NR students ENS Zhe Liu and ENS Kristine Banzuelo are stomping the deck plates and using what they've learned from the BQC-NR course to help them conduct audits onboard the USS Mustin (DDG 89) during the ship's Supply Management Certification preparations. Specifically, these U.S. Navy Reserve officers are performing location audits, which means they must thoroughly examine 2,849 line items. That's a lot! Great work, ENS Banzuelo and ENS Liu! #hardwork #whatrightlookslike #fromseabedtospace #navyreserves

Living on a submarine involves adapting to unique and compact living conditions, a reality that submariners embrace as part of their service. Submarines, by design, prioritize operational functionality and efficiency, leading to constrained living spaces. The personal quarters on a submarine are notably tight. Sleeping areas, often known as "racks," are usually stacked in tiers, with each sailor having a small, bunk-like space. These racks are just big enough for a person to lie down, with limited room for personal belongings, typically stored in a small locker or a compartment under the bed. So next time you think your living space is small....
