Excited to share that I have graduated with my MBA from NYU Stern School of Business! Thank you to my family, friends, coworkers, professors, and fellow students for your support during the program.
It is truly an honor to welcome Molly to the most exclusive and respected club in the world - rivaled perhaps only by Nobel laureates, lunar astronauts and Fields Medal winners. The Cornell Undergrad /Stern MBA fraternity welcomes you.
Somebody stop me: I’m hungry for knowledge and it’s always within reach. Two years ago, I started a journey to rake a second master’s degree. Just some chorus director, maestro of adolescent minds. Music producer. Nobody really expected much of me.
Through long hours of the night, I crunched numbers with some of the smartest minds. Analyzing, Marketing, Tweaking, Illustrating, Practicing, Perfecting. It felt like music. It felt familiar. The high caliber of my peers and professors, in their respective fields, continually motivated me to challenge myself. I appreciate all of you.
Life is too short to not learn everything, while you can. If you’re reading this, and you feel stuck, be curious. Open random doors. Learn from the successes and failures of others, and especially, learn from your own weaknesses. Curious people make mistakes. Keep trying. Be a sponge of knowledge. You make your own limits, so choose to be limitless. If you chose to be a lifelong learner, you will find love and purpose in that pursuit.
The decision to do my MBA at NYU Stern School of Business has so many layers, and I couldn’t be more happy to share a little bit of my journey, together with my husband Lucas Biondi Sanchez, on us becoming Sternies!
This blog post answers to multiple questions I’ve been getting from people applying to the MBA! Hope it helps, and if you’re interested in also becoming a Sternie, reach me out so we can chat!

This is a terrific video from Eddie Asbie, Executive Director of Admissions for the Two-Year MBA at Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management.
It conveys the importance of being authentic in the application process and this line, in particular, caught my attention:
"We want you to acknowledge any weaknesses to improve yourself both personally and professionally."
I think we often think we need to present our 'perfect' selves to gain admission to a top business school like #Cornell#Johnson. It's such a competitive process that it makes sense to feel that way. But the thing is that the MBA is an opportunity for transformational growth and if you don't have anything to work on, one could argue, why do you need the MBA?
It's totally fine to acknowledge your weaknesses, in addition to your strengths, and provide a strong argument on *how* the program can help.
Think of business school as an "academic" gym and show self-awareness of what you want/need to work on. 😊
The final application deadline for this admissions cycle is April 10.
"I'm thrilled to share a significant update with my network!
Two years ago, I earned my Bachelor's degree in Applied Business from Brigham Young Idaho University. I was determined to take my education to the next level and was accepted into the Master's in Finance and Investment program at Berlin School of Business. Unfortunately, financial constraints prevented me from pursuing this opportunity.
Despite facing setbacks, including rejections from Brigham Young Provo, Utah University, and Seattle University, I remained committed to my goals.
Today, I'm delighted to share that I've started my MBA in Administration and Finance at Ecema School of Business! I'm grateful for this new chapter and the chance to continue growing and learning.
This journey has taught me resilience, perseverance, and the importance of staying true to my aspirations. I'm excited to see where this new path will lead me and how I can apply my skills and knowledge to make a meaningful impact.
Thank you to everyone who has supported me along the way! #MBA#EcemaSchoolOfBusiness#NewChapter#GoalOriented#Resilience"
"Just know you have one year... you have to make the most of it." 👏
Before graduating from the MIT Sloan Fellows MBA Program this past May, Yael Agmon, SFMBA '24, sat down with us to reflect on how she made the most of her time at MIT and answered the big question: her 'why' for doing it.

Reminder: Do not treat NYU Stern as a “safety school” when applying to MBA programs.
NYU Stern's MBA program is disproportionately competitive, considering its rank. It's admission rate is only 27%. That’s lower than Kellogg and Booth (~30%) which are both in the M7.
Obviously, many MBA applicants want to live in New York City. Another factor is the school's exceptional connections to Wall Street.
We had incredible results at NYU Stern in the last few years, including 4 admits with FULL-RIDE scholarships. Check out my interview with Jasmin to learn how we did it 👇
