In every ending there is a new beginning. This summer, I was winding down Gluework, my first startup, which was a truly special part of my professional journey. It might not have ended as we all dreamed, but it was an unbelievable experience that I would repeat over and over again. Mostly thanks to my co-founder and the team we’ve built, our investors, consultants, and customers, and most importantly - our supportive family and friends. I started Gluework because I’ve seen how a good revenue operations perception can not only maintain positive growth but also transform a business, making it recession-proof and ensuring long-lasting success. There is a lot more work to do in this space, and this work will play a critical role in shaping the tech space as a whole in the next few years. I can’t be happier to share that my next step is joining Sweep, which brings a simple yet much-needed vision to today’s crowded revenue tech space - to make people love Salesforce and use it smartly. To remove the unbelievable burden of maintaining and implementing proper Salesforce infrastructure, and finally, to make each RevOps leader a superhero who can focus on and execute the right things for their company. Yesterday, the newly formed Dedicated HLS team has kicked off at the Salesforce Sydney office with in person and remote attendees, to talk about who we are and how we can contribute to Mav3rik's overarching vision, methods & measures. We discovered a number of fun facts about each other - something to do with memes, pigeons, Subaru cars and ginger bread cookies 😄! More importantly we acknowledged that whilst the Healthcare & Life Sciences Industry is full of opportunities for optimisation and digitisation, the reality is that bringing our teams and our customers along the transformation journey is a key success factor that we need to keep at the centre of everything that we do! We talked about the need to: - deliver short, sharp and succinct internal enablement; - correct our assumptions around how to structure HLS program delivery and execution as they may be different to projects we have been exposed to in the past across other industries; - begin with the end in mind - who are the stakeholders we delivering solutions for - what experience they are after and what's in it for them The year ahead is going to be busy for us and we are thrilled to partner with some amazing organisations to deliver value through innovative solutions for the industry!
